At Lakewood Animal Health Center, we do set aside time each day for those pets who become acutely ill or have injuries. In the case of illness, when possible, we ask that you try to call early in the day so that we can be sure the doctor has time set aside to see your pet. We will strive to run the office as efficiently as we can, recognizing that an occasional emergency might interfere with this goal.
The doctors are not available after hours for emergencies. In order to provide quality care during office hours, we refer after-hours emergencies to two area emergency clinics:

We work closely with two emergency clinics and will continue your pet's care the following morning.
